![]() here's the url to one of the actor's website; http://www.alivenotdead.com/limyubeng/animal-farm-in-hk--profile-892526.html i'm comin' back to hong kong! this march for a limited run from the 5th to the 7th, i'll be playing at the shouson theatre in a play i love, called animal farm. yes, for those of you who've read it, it's the george orwell novel about power, politics and the fallibility of us all. we've done it before, in singapore and new zealand, and this year's version promises to be killer, given the new state of the world. it's a very physical play (no animal costumes or anything like that, we do it all with the body) so if that's your thing, come check us out! i'm really happy to be back in the shouson theatre where i played in december. and looking forward to meeting my hk friends again! tickets are almost sold out, i am told, so check the hk arts festival website for details. here's a couple of pictures to give you an idea. the poster is from our first production, so ignore the dates. but yes, that's my purple ass on it. and this is a shot from the first performance. seems impressive? well, let me tell you, it is. when i was watching the show yijie was being very distractive and she even dropped her shoe -.- but the show was really engaging and 0.0 you know? like i get the feeling of inferiority when i see them perform. oh and the play brought back memories of my grandparents and the old jumbol place house at pasir panjang cause i remember watching that show when i was 5? 4? in my grandparent's room. i was super scared of the pigs in the show and had no idea what the story was about. all i knew was that the pigs were killed and their heads were hung on a pole or sth like that and i was creeped out by the show. and now, 9 years later, i'm watching the same story potrayed in a different way, and now...i understand the play ^^ we met seniors today and they're dressed like 0.0 and they put on makeup. i heard xiumei sayig something about not putting makeup and like meilianjianren or sth like that?>.< saw this LA drama instructor at the end of the play. you know? the one that always come and extra one, ya the guy? come to think of it... i did countless embarrassing things infront of that teacher... including acting like a rich arrogant qian jing da xiao jie fighting with some peasants and a maid over a small packet of rice? ahhhh!!!! so embarrassing (quote from aunty lucy) damn it. why do i always do embarrassing things infront of guys???? why????? i'm soooo tired....Zzzzzz and i'm suppossed to do a project at 11 tomorrow Zzzzzz ohhhhhh....*groaans* and the baby hamsters are doing well i must say. but one hamster is missing... i wonder if the mum ate it. bleugh... ewwwwwwwwwww back to top? |
