 Wednesday, September 29, 2010 @ 7:14 PMi screwed up the dammit paper 35632151642451473413 disgusting T.T i screwed up situational...was totally unengaging and boring. but i think personal recount was better... "write about a memorable time in your secondary school life." and before the paper i had already planned about writing on basketball...although i don't play it. so yup. started the paper with returning to the school hall, basketball court...how it was so familar yet so foreign. remembered how noisy it used to be... flashback, remembered about the basketball championships. the defening silence before the start of the match and how i was annoyed at how something so soundless and silet as silence could distract me from the game. the whistle sounded(are whistles blown at the games? i dunno) and my rival and i chased after the ball, he got the ball and flung the ball toward the hoop...thoughts feelings scared dissappointed etc. looked away. thought i lost. crowd was cheering "je-re-my! je-re-my! je-re-my!" but then fell silent. i was surprised looked up and realised that the ball did not enter the hoop. took the ball, and headed it towards the hoop, the crowd was cheering but i blocked out all sound. this was the silence of determination, when i hear it, i get strength. then i dunked the ball. crowd went silent for a moment, the silence of winning. then cheered like they've never cheered before. i won. now, as i stand in this basketball court, the place where i went through so much joy. the place that taught me so much, i felt a tinge of sadness. the place that would be reduced to ashes and bricks. As i shared this new silence with myself, i felt lost. This silence, was the silence of death. oh and the inspiration for the silence thingy came from this book called "going going" that i read yesterday... the quote goes like this "if there could be silence like a pool of spilled paint. Silence strung like a clothesline with nothing on it." the last part gave me a feeling that silence was lonely. A clothesline with no clothes means no inhabitance, no inhabitance means no one is there, when there is no one, it is lonely. therefore silence is lonely. and i thought of the show "dive" where this guy said that diving was a sport that with every win, you get lonlier. so sports and silence? and bam, i thought of basketball... oh and vanessa(who sits behind me) also wrote about basketball, cool or what? pray hope that i'll get a good grade for it. back to top? |

Thursday, September 23, 2010 @ 12:57 AM my girlfriend is a gumiho is one of the best dramas i've ever watched and is comparable to my girl and goong i might try watching sungkunkwan scandal i am actually not happy with a 3.7 cause everyone around me seemed to be getting 3.8 and above. i have this weird bracelet given to me by divya when she went to thailand and weird things started happening when i had it. as in, it was weird that the bracelet was moving on its own and disappearing and appearing suddenly. it's just sooo....weird. it dropped on the floor from the table(it was placed quite far from the edge)on its own when nobody touched it and it was not on the table where i left it when i left for school but appeared on my table after i returned back. i thought it was suppossed to bring me good luck? back to top? |

Monday, September 20, 2010 @ 3:31 AM bye bye my full exemption. i'll be taking LA, HCL and science(why science?! why science?!) anyway, we'll be getting progress report tomorrow so yea...and yijie got 3.8, natalie 3.6 hanen 3.6 siwai (i dunno) but anyway, jiayou for eoys and bleugh to yijie :P i know i'm becoming unbecoming of a human being i'm turning into a science geek i now see hcl as hydrochloric acid and wrote it as hcl when it's suppossed to be HCL what am i suppossed to do now...?! Tuesday, September 7, 2010 @ 1:52 AM fact #1 i screwed up my HSK. fact#2 i actually went for last sunday's CIP!!! fact#3 i hate going to far away places, especially for school events. fact#4 i didn't get lost on that day. fact#5 i collected my classtee fact#6 i stayed till about eight for CIP and was late for my appointment with yushan to watch a show at resorts world fact#7 we still went anyway. yushan's dad and mom drove us fact#8 i reached home really late and pissed my mum off cause i didn't tell her about it earlier. fact#9 i haven't touched a single homework yet fact#10 i was watching dramas the whole time fact#11 *i have numerous dramas that i wanna watch fact#12 i tutored my sis for two hours and earned myself twenty bucks. fact#13 i ate chips (god please forgive me....!) fact#14 today is the end of my sorrows!!!!! (yijie's final test) fact#15 i have no more facts left sorry about this really boring post. i know i shouldn't be this cruel and make you read this crap (crab?) all the time ^^ if you wondered what the "*"(asterisk?) is for... wait. what? you didn't notice? scroll up to see "fact#11" again. yup, right..... there. see it? ya that. okay, that is because i'm not done with that point yet ^^ now, i'm going to LIST (DID I HEAR YOU GROAN? Friday, September 3, 2010 @ 5:42 AM i absolutely cannot believe that the holidays are here!!!!! oh and i also cannot believe that i finished "i am sam"/"i am your teacher" in two school days. i'm serious. it's like the most fantastic drama ever. you'll never get bored of the show once you've started and when you do, i don't think it's humanely possible to stop. no, it doesn't have all the lovey-dovey i-love-you-and-you-die stuff, but it's definitely good. really. it's in my top ten list now(: the ending is aWEsomE!!! go watch go watch. shoot!HSK IS LIKE TOMORROW!!!!! 0.0 oh and if you don't know what hsk is, it's 汉语语文水平考试 so it's a test of your chinese linguistic abilities...which is something i absolutely do not have (sadly... ><) oh and i found out that (Y) means "thumbs up" (N) means "thumbs down" (L) means "love" okay, yup. i know you're like thinking, "what? is this girl living in stone age or something?!" well maybe...considering the many electronic-chim-stuff-which-i-am-absolutely-clueless-about oh and did you know "RS" means restart?! the boys go "rs, rs" and i'm like "woah, what does that mean anyway..." =.= and what's the difference between =.= and -.- ? maybe one had single eyelids and one has double... in that case, mine should be like this -.= okay, looks weird. nvm. i have hanyushuipingkaoshi tomorrow(N) but i'll be meeting yijie at macs tomorrow morning (Y) and i think yije's a great friend :)(L) and i don't want her to transfer out :((N) so how is it? not bad right? haha. ha. hahaha.haha. stop it! yea, so where was i? oh yea. i have to do chi jianbao and i can't live without the chi e dictionary:( and it's like 9.15 already?! shoot. i have to go now. i'm sorry if this post made you go "URH" i am in a weird mood today. wonder whassup. who knows... okay, how do i end this? oh, i'll tell you a story okay... once upon a time, there was this famous author and he had a best friend. one day, his best friend came to his house to visit him. However to his greatest surprise, his friend was really weird and was crying at the dining table. he looked at the untouched food on the table and he said, "why? is the food that awful?" (nah, he didn't say that) anyway. he said,"why are you crying". the author's maid came by and told him, "he's been crying for almost 5 hours now..." the friend was utterly shocked because he couldn't understand what had made his friend cry that much, so he asked, "what happened?" his friend looked up and said, "well, i was writing this story but i didn't know how to end it. so i made my favourite character die" -.= eop back to top? |
